About Your Opportunity
The Team Leader Information Management will be responsible for leading a team of information and document management professionals to ensure the effective management, organization, and utilization of the Group’s information assets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional and project teams to align Information Management initiatives with business objectives and drive continuous improvement in information and document management processes and systems, focused on supporting the delivery of the Capital Delivery program, efficiency and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Information Management and document control professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Provide guidance to the group on best practice Information Management and document control and ensure internal work practices comply with strategies, policies, procedures, relevant Acts, Standards and Legislation for current records (physical and technology dependent), inactive records and archival material.
- Implement strategies, policies, and procedures for the effective management of information assets, including data governance, data quality, records management, and information security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Group to understand Information Management needs and priorities and develop solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Seqwater to contribute to the development of strategies, policies and procedures for Information Management.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essentials
- 5+ years of experience in information or document management, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.
- Experience with Information Management technologies and tools, such as document management systems, enterprise content management systems, metadata management tools, and data governance frameworks.
Desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications in Information Management, such as Certified Information Professional (CIP) or Certified Records Manager (CRM).
This position has a salary starting at $118,579 - $129,013 dependant on experience plus 12.75% superannuation and is a permanent fulltime position.
