Sales Development

We are seeking ambitious and results-driven sales professional to join our team in Keswick, reporting into the State Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be a SA local and a hunter, someone who is hungry and loves a challenge. The ability to absorb technical knowledge will come naturally and they will be driven by results.

IPD Group has a strong focus on strategic growth within the Electrical Wholesale channel within South Australia and providing value adding support to our highly valued partner wholesalers to achieve sustainable growth is essential.

Supported by a dynamic Customer Service team, excellent product portfolio, estimation and engineering support, your success is there for the taking.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong and trusting relationships with clients across the electrical industry 
• Achieve desired sales outcomes, challenging objections where required
• Liaising & collaborating with key stakeholders
• Developing sales with an existing customer base while identifying new business opportunities
• Providing a high level of customer service

Experience & attributes:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the electrical industry
• Experience working in or supporting the Electrical Wholesale channel preferred
• Strong relationship building skills (“likeable & trustable”)
• Self-motivation with a focus on results
• Keen attention to detail, organisational & time management skills
• Excellent written, verbal interpersonal & communication skills
• The drive to seek continuous improvement
