Be responsible for delivering a professional yet personable sales solutions to your allocated portfolio, target accounts and territory.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and characteristics:
- Disciplined, responsible and structured to thrive in an autonomous position
- Ambitious and driven
- Comfortable working towards set KPIs and sales targets
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Maintain strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Plan, lead, control and monitor sales performance within respective sales territories
- Expanding opportunities within existing customer base
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline
- Offer customers a door-to-door solution and/or incorporate products to sale that can be provided by the Swire Integrated Logistics team
- Assist with preparation of annual budgets
- Produce reports as determined on a weekly or monthly basis and other reports as required
Qualifications and Technical Skills
- Tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, shipping, or other relevant discipline
- Min 2 years sales experience in shipping or similar role with supply chain
- Required to maintain a full driver's license.
- Ocean freight experience & knowledge of supply chain methodology/breakbulk products highly desirable
Professional Skills
- Well-developed communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience within a multinational, matrix reporting organisation
- A high level of integrity and confidentiality with high professional standards
- Outstanding relationship building skills and a team orientated approach.
