The Course Advisor/Sales Lead supports the growth of THS domestic student enrolment. Responsible for managing prospective students through the application process, providing guidance and advice from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
This position is part of a dynamic team that delivers quality educational options to enthusiastic students who are eager to develop their hospitality careers.
This position requires a well-developed communication, negotiation and sales skill set.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Drive the recruitment of new domestic students
- Achieve or exceed on organisation’s enrolment and conversion targets
- Develop sales strategies to ensure long term growth
- Respond to prospective student enquiries through outbound calls, email, chat, campus tours and various other communication methods to assist the enrolment decision making process
- Keep up-to-date sales activities and transaction records in the divisional CRM system
- Participate in all on-campus events including industry events, open days, workshops
- In collaboration with the National School Channel Manager - Develop relationships with Career’s Advisors in key schools and school clusters for recruitment of students
- Develop reporting and market feedback to the wider Marketing and Sales Team
About You:
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, skills, abilities and experience:
- Strong experience in sales and customer engagement – 3 years+
- Demonstrated ability to achieve set organisational targets
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- A keen negotiator with high emotional intelligence
- Positive attitude with the ability to motivate others
- Advanced Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency, intermediate Access
- Highly developed CRM experience
- Professional and friendly phone manner and an engaging personal presentation style
- Proven ability to multi task and prioritise work and deliver deadlines
- Readiness to learn new processes, skills and technologies with an open mind and eagerness for personal growth and to expand professional skill set
- Experience demonstrating accountability in performance
Attributes considered an advantage include:
- Interest in the hospitality, tourism and hotel industry
- Worked with undergraduates or in education setting
- Experience in sales targeted to Undergraduate market and parents
