Cox Purtell is currently partnering with a well-established international business, specialising in B2B packaging supply to the FMCG market (with over 40 years in the industry!), who are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join their Customer Service & Supply Chain team. As a family-owned company, they place a strong emphasis on their people.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced sales admin/logistics professional with excellent communication/customer service skills, to progress their career in a collaborative and supportive team.
You'll be an integral member of the Customer Service & Supply Chain team - responsible for supporting end-to-end supply of goods from warehouse to customer - including freight tracking, customer follow-up, processing of purchase orders, consignment stock transfers and managing production orders - you'll be involved in the whole process!
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing customers by quoting, entering, processing orders and resolving any order or account issues.
- Interact with external customers, to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about customer orders and accounts. Updating on shipments, dates, delivery slots etc.
- Process purchase orders and consignment stock transfers
- Manage production orders
- Update various reports including account opening status, sales report, open orders, delivery status, inventory levels etc.
- Processing all orders in SAP and liaise with logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitoring stock levels and regional ordering of stock.
- Maintains customer and material database in SAP.
Skills/experience required:
- Minimum 2 - 5 years experience in a sales admin/Logistics Coordinator role.
- FMCG/Consumer Goods background is preferred.
- Highly skilled in customer service/account management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have extensive experience of using SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
