As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced State Manager to lead our solar initiatives in Victoria

Job Overview: As the State Manager for Solar at Technaus, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the growth of our solar business within Vicotria in Australia. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to maximize market penetration, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong blend of strategic vision, leadership, and technical expertise in the solar energy sector. As the state Sales Manager in the solar industry, your role involves overseeing the sales team responsible for selling solar energy products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share for solar products and services in Victoria.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of sales professionals, project managers, and technical specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, industry associations, commercial partners, and customers to drive business growth and advocacy for solar energy.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological advancements in the solar energy sector, and leverage this knowledge to inform business strategies and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment of goals and effective execution of initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape, and develop actionable insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive excellence in customer service and satisfaction by ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues and concerns, and maintaining a customer-centric approach in all business activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in sales management or business development roles with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute business plans, identify growth opportunities, and navigate challenges in a dynamic market environment.
  • Results-oriented approach with a focus on delivering exceptional customer value and driving business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to inform decision-making.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel within Victoria and occasionally nationally as required.
  • Valid driver's license.
