Boval Engineering commenced in the late 1950’s as a specialist tool making business. Over the decades, Boval has built a specialisation and reputation in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing. We are widely known for our expertise in laser cutting, turret punching, CNC metal bending, metal stamping, power press services, powder coating, metal spinning and toolmaking.
Boval Engineering is part of a Private Group of iconic Australian Manufacturing, Technology, Materials and Engineering businesses. Each has an independent General Manager and a remit of autonomy which is supported by a Board with expertise that enables continued success and growth.
At Boval Engineering we are committed to ongoing investment in the continuous modernisation of our plant and equipment. We are soon to complete an onsite logistics and material storage facility.
The job
We require a Sales Manager who can nurture and grow relationships with our existing clients and identify and secure new clients and business opportunities. The Sales Manager will report directly to the GM and hold an important position driving growth.
As the Sales manager you will be responsible for contributing to and bringing our strategic vision to life.
Using your professionalism and experience you will:
- Foster and grow relationships and sales opportunities with existing clients.
- Identify, approach, and develop relationships with aligned, new clients.
- Undertake cyclical visits with regional and interstate clients.
- Forecast and provide strategic input into new business opportunities and markets.
- Supervise website and marketing collateral updates and refreshes.
- Tactically and strategically contribute to Management meetings.
- Contribute to social and digital media, marketing, and branding initiatives.
About you
You will be genuinely motivated and able to succeed in sales across a diverse industry base. You must be passionate about supporting and growing existing client relationships and creating new client opportunities.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Proven sales and account management experience in the Sheetmetal, fabrication or manufacturing industry.
- The ability to eventually build and manage a small team.
- The willingness to travel locally and intrastate and on occasion, trips interstate.
- Diligence in applying strategic and tactical sales practices.
- An unwavering focus on being proactive and autonomous.
- Excellent financial, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Absolute commitment to customer service.
