Job description

As the Sales Manager for Boody's independent retailer accounts, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth via our 1,800 Australia and New Zealand independent stockists - and growing! Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for managing and expanding sales in the independent wholesale channel, which includes pharmacy, health food stores, supermarkets and boutiques.

Based in Surry Hills, you will lead a team of direct and indirect reports responsible for servicing the independent wholesale channel. You will be a strong driving force within the team and be able to champion this core part of our business.

What is this role all about?

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share in the independent channel
  • Provide leadership to the in-house Sales champions, including onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management anchored by our Boody core values
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, including producing internal sales reporting to provide valuable insights to the business on performance, progress and challenges faced
  • Meet with potential and current clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
  • Manage external sales agencies, setting and monitoring KPIs and objectives while ensuring they have the right assets and tools to deliver on key growth strategies
  • Ensure wholesale quotas are met via weekly check-ins with the sales team, setting new tasks and objectives as they arrive and monitor progress
  • Manage the sales calendar, ensuring our customers have ‘the right product at the right time’ in order to deliver on sales KPIs
  • Conduct sales forecasting and analysis to ensure accurate planning and execution of channel strategies
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and success on sales objectives
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to stay informed and identify new business opportunities
  • Oversee CRM to ensure processes are efficient and performance is being maintained
  • Drive a value led culture of exceptional customer excellence and engagement
