About the Job:
As the Sales Manager, you will lead the growth of relationships across all segments, from MICE to corporate and government, including associations and live events across the Australasian region. Your expertise will be essential in successfully nurturing and developing existing accounts, while proactively seeking new business opportunities and forging strategic partnerships.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for contracting new and repeat business, conducting pricing negotiations, and managing sales activities.
This venue is situated overseas, and your role will play a crucial part in showcasing its conference and event spaces in Australia. Your role offers complete flexibility and autonomy within the group's guidelines, embodying the true essence of work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to work remotely or from an office, allowing you to prioritize both your professional duties and personal commitments effectively.
About You:
Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for the Events industry? Do you thrive on converting a sale, acquiring a new business or seeing a long-term relationship flourish?
We would love to see:
- Proven track record in sales or business development within the Events industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Autonomous, self-motivated with excellent organisation and planning skills
- Highly efficient administrative skills, including advanced computer literacy.
- Preferred qualifications in tourism, hospitality, business, or related disciplines.
