ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Sales Manager - Chinese Speakerwill be responsible to assist and support the Tour Group manager in the effective and efficient running of the daily operations of the Tour group and FIT business.
YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Maintain a strong focus on the business and understand the sales trends and sales forecasts in tour group market.
- Work with the sales team to maximise sales opportunity and achieving given KPI
- Complete activities and actively support and promote initiatives to create and grow sales in the PRC (People Republic of China) Tour Group market.
- Build and maintain good relationships with tour group leaders and agencies
- Provide feedback from tour group leaders and customer and maintain communication with Tour Group manager
- Ensure all customer service and follow-up service requirements are handled to the customer’s satisfaction in a most urgent and timely manner.
- Be aware of competitor activity
- Be aware of Airport security emergency and health and safety procedures.
- Be aware of, and adhere to all company and Airport policies and procedures.
ABOUT YOU
Essential:
- Chinese speaker
- Proven, track record of achieving successful sales, in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Experience of coaching/training people
- Highly skilled team leader who leads from the front
- Experience of delivering exceptional customer service
- Must be flexible with regards to working hours
- Ability to manage various competing priorities and ability to assess and resolve complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to work well and effectively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
Desirable:
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Tour Groups and Tour Companies
- Knowledge of and/or experience in using Chinese social media
- Knowledge / experience of international brands and a diverse range of products
- Experience of working in the duty free environment or luxury retail
- Have current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

HOURS
- Full time position – 76 hours fortnightly
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- 2 week rotating roster
- Flexibility with hours of work is important as our stores are open for long periods
