In this newly created Sales Manager role, you will be challenged to work both strategically and tactically with prospects and clients to help them solve complex business problems and be an integral player in client relationships and growth, as well as increase the agency footprint in the e-com Australian market through business development and partnerships management.

The role:
As their new Sales Manager, you will be challenged to work both strategically and tactically with key clients to help them solve complex business problems. You will be an integral player in client relationships and growth, as well as increase the agency footprint in the e-com Australian market through business development and partnerships management.
As such, you’ll be part of the executive management team (6 people), reporting directly to the General Manager. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Head of Delivery, whilst being supported by the Partnerships Manager.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Build and nurture Relationships with client prospects
- Lead all new business development activities (presales, tender/pitch process, lead generation)
- Relate and engage with a wide range of potential clients and technology partners (Adobe Commerce, Shopify) to get leads, referrals and recommendations
- Setting up and leading client discovery meetings to find out their eCommerce strategy, needs, and goals
- Display excellent stakeholder engagement skills and develop a deep understanding of clients strategic and operational needs
- Handle Contract preparation/negotiation + SLA’s agreements + SOW commercial approval
- Supervise partner relationships management with the support of the existing Partnerships Manager
- Demonstrate inspiring leadership and can-do attitude in a fast-paced working environment
What you will bring:
- Sound experience as an e-com account management / commercial role (5+ years)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Business acumen and commercial astute
- Experience in handling large clients or global brands or multi-channel retailers (ideally in both the B2B and B2C spaces)
- Proven track record in new business wins
- Experience in running commercial dashboard and KPIs tracking
- Familiar with current Australian e-commerce ecosystem (vendors, merchants, retailers)
- Good Understanding of the full eCommerce product life cycle
- Good knowledge of a least one of the eCommerce platforms eg Adobe Magento, Shopify
