NSW Sales Manager

We offer a full service to our clients focusing on the mining, steel, aluminum, oil and gas, MRO, manufacturing, transport and agricultural industries via product sales, engineering, technical support, training and site services. Solution providing is a key focus of Statewide Bearings through these services.
As the NSW Sales Manager you will be responsible for the successful generation of profit and KPI's through leading and motivating the NSW sales team. Further to this you will take ownership and develop a list of major clients.
Your key objectives as the State Sales Manager:
- Management of external sales team.
- Identify potential customer needs and opportunities to grow our business.
- Create synergies between purchasing, sales, engineering and site services.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and demonstrate how we can add value to their business.
- Foster lead generation throughout the SWB Group branch network and leverage opportunities from existing relationships.
- Providing dual call opportunities with external sales staff and assisting with promotion and technical support.
- Use, understand and maintain a detailed CRM system.
- Comply with all company procedures and policies including WH&S, QA and EMS.
- Proactively contribute to the ongoing development of the SWB Group processes and systems.
To be part of this growing company the successful applicant will need the following attributes and skills:
- Senior sales experience across industrial suppliers to major blue-chip companies located in NSW.
- Previous experience in the bearing and power transmission industry preferred but not essential.
- High level of understanding of the NSW market place.
- Have the desire to develop your knowledge and skills to propel your career within our company.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism coupled with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and motivate others to reach their full potential.
- Advanced computing skills.
- Willingness to travel to key areas within the state with occasional interstate travel as required.
