Job description:
THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITY
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Manager to maximize sales and foster market growth in the region through effective management of the sales team and direct sales efforts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the improvement of sales figures through attraction of new customers, retention of current customers, cold calling potential customers, up selling and providing sales and product knowledge training to employees.
- Assist in the development and execution of the company sales and marketing plans in accordance with the strategy of business.
- Assist and support the Branch/Region Manager, as necessary, including the delivery of customer requirements.
- Manage the Contracts Administration function for all projects including the minimisation of risk to Best Doors in relation to damages.
- Undertake sales meetings and ensure all OH&S documentation is accurate and up to date at all times.
- Manage and develop key accounts.
- Ensure all sales staff maintain their vehicles in a manner that presents Best Doors in a professional manner.
- Uphold a zero injury, preventative management OH&S culture by promoting safety in the workplace.
- Day to day operational management of sales team, ensuring sales budgets are met.
YOUR SKILLS
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working in a similar position
- Industry specific experience in garage doors is admirable
- Ability to maintain and update policies and procedures
- High level of written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead a team and work as an individual
