About this opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales & Commercial Operations, you will lead and manage a team of “Business Development Coordinators” providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive Sales Performance and achieve targets. Your day-to-day will include; working with the team to establish new prospect relationships and supporting the team identify sales opportunities and effective appointment setting activities for our Business Development Managers, monitoring activity and performance metrics, ensuring detailed CRM practices are being adhered to along with recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
In this position, you will develop and implement sales strategies to ensure all qualified leads are managed effectively whilst allowing the prospect to experience a high care factor and credibility of our solutions which ultimately drive revenue growth. There will be a focus on analysing sales metrics and team output to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. You will have proven experience in being able to foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional development within a sales team.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Proven results managing an inside sales team for a minimum of 3 years
- Previous experience in daily management of an inside sales team including monitoring and reporting on activity, performance metrics and suggest strategies for improvements
- Experience in providing training and ongoing development and quality assurance checks
- Proven strategies and people skills to support the company culture and motivate the team
- Providing support with recruitment & onboarding of new team members
- Proficient in understanding call-centre systems, CRM and associated KPI’s
- Numerical abilities and a first class “can do” problem solving attitude
- Highly energetic, creative and performance driven nature
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a high-volume environment while managing multiple tasks
