The Role
We are a direct importer and wholesaler of Tools and Garden products. To expend our business, we are currently looking for an energetic, dynamic and sales professional to join us as a Business Development Manager. The primary responsibility of this role will be to develop markets and sales opportunities.
You will get to use your sales skills to identify and develop sales with new clients. You will help drive sales across our wide range products to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets.
To secure this hands-on role, you will need to have a proven sales background in the DIY hardware industry. You will be able to quickly build strong customer relationships and implement strategic growth to develop the business.
This is a result - focused role and is primarily responsible for:
- Development and execution of appropriate strategies through a clear understanding of market dynamics.
- Develop sales pipelines and sales forecasts.
- Identifying and pursuing new market opportunities
- Working with the team to maintain customer service at the highest standard.
A successful candidate should have:
- a can-do attitude
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and 1+ years’ wholesale experience.
- Good people skills with the capacity to establish strong relationships.
- An ability to multitask and priorities accordingly.
- Commitment to team outcomes
- Enjoy working with a high level of autonomy and a desire to grow within the business.
- Strong PC skills: MS office 365
- Clean, full drivers’ license.
