A position exists for a Sales Representative to introduce products, conduct public tastings and gain accounts at licenced establishments.
This role involves both Local and Regional travel. Ideal person must be well presented, confident communicator and able to build rapport quickly.
ESSENTIAL:
- Great communication skills, ability to introduce self and products to new locations such as pubs, clubs, licenced premises. Often this will be a cold start (meaning first time approach).
- Able to manage time effectively, the role is ‘on the road’ and you will be working independently
- Liaise with industry counterparts
- Must have Full drivers licence, and the ability to travel with a reliable and well presented vehicle.
- Well presented person both in personal grooming and communication.
- Ability to create trusted relationship via rapport building and customer service.
- Must hold current RSA qualification (responsible service of alcohol).
DESIRED:
Advocacy- complete tasting and product sampling sessions instore and at events to raise brand awareness.
Reporting- maintain contact with management regarding daily outcome.
Highly motivated- perform with great interpersonal skills and resilience is essential in this type of role.
Experience in the alcohol industry is not essential but highly welcomed.

The role is to gain new accounts and introduce the Distillery products to potential account holders. Role is suitable to a person passionate about growing a new business. Immediate start. Travel expenses paid. Mobile phone provided.
Minimum 12 hours per week, this role has the opportunity for further hours to be worked as progress is successful. Flexible working afternoon hours, most licenced premises will not open until after 10am, often tastings are held between 4-6pm. Work times can be negotiated in advance.
