About the role
As a Sales Representative, your primary focus will be to grow business in targeted areas and support distributors while maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers. You will play a pivotal role in:
- Taking charge of and expanding your designated territory.
- Developing and implementing a customer call plan to surpass revenue targets.
- Conducting on-site product demonstrations to generate demand and showcase the benefits of a premium power tool range.
- Providing product and sales training for distributor staff and end users in the building, construction, plastering, woodworking, and paint sectors.
About you
You're a driven, organised, and efficient territory manager dedicated to maximising sales results for your region. You excel in selling solutions rather than just products and are skilled at winning customers over based on quality, not just price.
Key qualifications and attributes include:
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in trade, industrial, or technical product sales.
- Practical experience with power tools, whether from professional work, home improvement, or a passion for DIY.
- A proven track record in territory planning and direct selling.
- Ability to conduct engaging and effective product demonstrations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a knack for building rapport with trade professionals.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, and spreadsheets and strong organisational skills.
