Due to company growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our new Western Australia Branch.
A leader in the design and manufacture of height access equipment, Star Aluminium manufacture standard and custom products in aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel.
Ideally to have experience working in the safety access or Work Platform/ Scaffold industry, or a similar manufacturing environment, and will be a highly motivated individual who enjoys developing new business as well as cultivating an existing client base.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Service existing accounts
- Source and establish new accounts both nationally and internationally
- Submit activity & results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly analysis
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
- Provide customer support and complaint prevention
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of products
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
The success applicant must possess the following:
- A minimum of 2 years sales experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally within the ladder and scaffold industry, or similar
- Highly motivated and results driven
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- The ability to work in a team and autonomously
Based at our new Perth site, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small team, where you can take ownership of the role and you are appreciated for your contribution. Travel interstate may be required from time to time.
