About the Role
The key objective of this position is to increase sales profitability, growth and market positioning through effectively selling ABD Poultry’s products to new and existing customers. This role is Internal Sales securing new accounts and maintaining current accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and continually growing sales for the company
- Secure new business while maintaining and growing existing business
- Fully understanding the sales potential of all our products with the ability to develop, implement and deliver on strategies for sales
- Identify and manage low yield customers into a more profitable trading relationship
- Advise management through informative verbal and written reports on customer needs and issues, industry competitors, market activity and potential new product lines to increase sales
- Attract, market and sell new and existing product lines
- Work independently and contribute as an effective team member including participation and collaboration with members of the Sales Team

- Highly motivated and have the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Personable, with the ability to build good rapport with clients and participate as an effective team member
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and be able to make sound decisions
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Multi-lingual is favorable but not essential
- Prior experience in the Poultry or Meat Industry is recommended but not essential
- Prior experience in Sales
