Ideally you will be an accomplished Sales Rep/ Business Development Officer with a proven track record in sales, a background in hospitality, and a genuine passion for success. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing the business in the Gippsland region. This exciting opportunity involves working and residing in the scenic surroundings of Regional Victoria, striking a balance between on-the-road sales and office-based responsibilities at the headquarters in Morwell. - Actively seek new customers and generate new business opportunities
- Travel between Gippsland, from Narre Warren to the Border, covering Phillip Island and the Dandenongs to secure new businesses
- Manage and grow sales for key accounts and contracted customers
- Drive sales and establish new business via social media marketing campaigns.
- Develop, cost and seek approvals for sales drivers and marketing campaigns
- Assist and advise customers on their purchases
- Work collaboratively with office staff on sales campaigns, pricing, upselling, freight queries and customer issues
- Provide sales training, coaching and feedback to office staff
- Report weekly/daily call plans to management
- Ensure all targets and KPIs are met
- Demonstrated hospitality experience (with retail liquor experience advantageous)
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and KPIs
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Solid work ethic
- Geographical familiarity with the Gippsland region
