Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet company objectives and targets within the fasteners industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling potential customers.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct thorough market research to pinpoint emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive challenges.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and forge key industry connections.
- Analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry dynamics, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on sales activities, market trends, and competitor insights.
- Proven track record of success in sales within the construction and industrial products sector, with a focus on fasteners preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
