About the opportunity:
We currently have an exciting opportunity in Brisbane for a seasoned Sales Representative or Account Manager with strong experience in business to business selling to work in our Government and Defence sector.
Reporting to the Government & Defence Team Lead, your key objective is to create user demand for Milwaukee across all categories and understand the path to purchase. Maintain, support and service the end user to create the best user experience possible by offering solution-based selling whilst developing strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Target and educate end users to convert from existing brands to Milwaukee products and achieve sales targets.
- Effectively present Milwaukee products and solutions within the Government and Defence channel.
- Manage, develop, and maintain new and existing users on the Milwaukee platform with a large focus on new business acquisition within the assigned Government and Defence channel and state.
- Manage all activities, information, and sales within Salesforce CRM.
- Participate in sales events, state industry meetings, and social networks to represent the company's brand.
- Partner effectively with other sales teams to deliver the best outcome.
Skills and Experience required:
- Minimum 1 Year direct selling or business development/account management experience.
- Previous experience in working with the Defence or Government/Local Government/Emergency Services sectors would be highly regarded.
- Strong ability to develop and foster client relationships and build rapport.
- Trade background/hands on experience with tools is desirable.
- High level of communication, presentation, leadership and problem solving skills.
- Full driver's licence with excellent driving record.
