The role
Work from your home office and on-farm throughout Queensland.
You have the flexibility to manage your travel for a sustainable work-home life balance, however to be successful in this role you will need to spend a large portion of your time on farm, in front of customers throughout Queensland. Your focus will primarily be on our livestock equipment range, including the AusMix Feed Mixer and supporting our customers to achieve their business goals.
You will also get a kick out of performing machinery demonstrations and attending Field Day events.
Main responsibilities
· Develop new and existing customer relationships with key industry stakeholders
· Provide technical advice and troubleshooting to dealers and customers
· Draw up quotes and proposals that perfectly suit our customer needs and submit them in a timely manner
· Effectively manage the sales process, your pipeline and diligently record interactions with your customers in accordance with our CRM procedures
· Negotiate and close sales to achieve quarterly targets
Your core talents and strengths
· Self motivated. Resilient. Ability to work efficiently without close supervision.
· Agricultural industry knowledge (especially cattle/dairy) and significant sales experience will be highly regarded
· Communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
· Problem-solving and creative thinking
· Team player and always working towards making a positive difference to the team environment
