Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to build lasting relationships. This role involves managing and growing a designated territory, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
Identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and challenges.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales is not a deal breaker, meat/abattoir experience on the other hand excites us.
Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics – don’t let this scare you, we can teach you this.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills – this however is critical.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team – we are all about team.
Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales – you have to sell.
Proficiency in using CRM software, Outlook and Word – again, we can teach this.
