About the Role
Seeking a proactive and experienced professional to manage a key territory, encompassing Queensland and the Northern Territory. As Territory Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and expanding their customer base. Establishing long-term client relationships is crucial, and a mechanical aptitude will be highly beneficial. This role involves significant travel to promote their high quality products to a diverse client base, including consultants, contractors, OEMs, and key end-users.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Meet and exceed sales targets and profitability goals in Queensland and the Northern Territory
- Understand and address customer requirements through regular interactions
- Drive sales of pumps and accessory equipment
- Present offers, resolve technical queries, and close new business deals
- Contribute to the development and execution of a strategic business plan for the state
- Deliver technical presentations
- Collaborate with sales support staff to maximize opportunities within the territory
- Proven track record in territory sales management or business development in a related industry
- Experience in sales within the pumps, valves, or mechanical sectors
- Formal qualifications in trade, mechanical, or engineering (mechanical)
- Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Superior planning, time management, and organisational abilities
- Energetic and enthusiastic with a drive for success
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and results-oriented
