The ANZ Plus Salesforce delivery model is one of the most mature and sophisticated in market, making use of all of the latest devops and developer tooling within the Salesforce ecosystem. We have an in-house built CICD pipeline that does delta packaging, apex unit test verification, LWC jest tests, code style enforcement, secure code scanning and even a Salesforce CLI extension that automates the documentation of our IAM and Schemas. We also use scratch orgs for development, with an engineer able to create a scratch org between 4-6 minutes and production releases minimum twice a month (once a fortnight). Our Salesforce engineering culture focuses on generalist engineering principals to make our solutions as scalable, reliable and performant as possible and it’s a great place to work to learn this level of engineering excellence. What will you bring?
As a Chapter Lead, you are responsible for building world class capability in your chapter. We know not everyone will bring all of the skills and experience, and at ANZ we are focused on people bringing a growth mindset to their approach to work.
Deep expertise as a senior engineer or architect in a complex and if possible regulated environment Proven experience leading and instilling a sense of purpose and continually building a teams master and autonomy Salesforce Certification (or working towards). You will need to advocate for the right capabilities of Salesforce whilst considering trade-offs. (e.g. temporary drop in velocity) A natural engager and influencer of stakeholders, this role will see you predominately working in ANZx but leaning into the Retail division when needed Ability to galvanise a diverse group of people around a common mission What will your day look like
Chapter Leads are people leaders and growers, you will nurture a team of permanent team members who are highly skilled and work across several capability domains including customer relationship management, product and bundle management, financial servicing & digital banking and origination management. Build and evolve our Salesforce implementation using best practice and cutting-edge implementation strategies Provide advice on the right mix of quality engineering, and whether vendor extensions meet the required level of engineering Whilst predominantly supporting ANZx the role will stretch to interface into many other areas of the bank including identity, data and core Define and develop tooling and work with our platform teams to help evolve the CI/CD pipelines Use Salesforce DX and a completely source-driven approach to delivering capabilities on our Salesforce platform including several dev tools to maintain a high-quality implementation that are rarely seen in Salesforce implementations Advocate for the engineering practice within the broader cross-functional Salesforce leadership team Leading the delivery of both feature-driven and platform-driven initiatives So, why join us?
