About the role
This is a full time permanent opportunity located at Collinsville Solar Farm.
Collinsville’s Site Lead will be responsible for leading and implementing the day to day and long-term operational and planning activities for all the maintenance services of Collinsville Solar PV ensuring all activities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
This role will achieve this by leading and supporting the small site team (and relevant local sub-contractors) with the planning and scheduling of the day-to-day work activities for the Collinsville Solar Farm. The Site Lead will have the appropriate trade qualifications and HVO switching officer certification and is expected to be ‘on the tools’ and undertake manual activities when required.
The Site Lead responsibilities include preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance and installation activities for the site. They are responsible for supervising one direct report and complying with statutory or health safety and environmental requirements.
Key activities include:
- Provide all technical work associated with the preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities for site.
- Assist in the development of site-based maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Support with the administration and documentation for site including preparation, tracing, closing and recording of maintenance work orders.
About you
As a Site Lead, you will manage the day to day and long-term operations and maintenance activities for Collinsville Solar PV to ensure the optimisation and high generation performance of the site. You will champion our values (we care, we adapt and we deliver) and embed a customer focus in daily operations to ensure our client’s site performance expectations are met.
The following qualifications and skills are required:
- Electrical Trade certificate and a current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence (or equivalent).
- High Voltage Operator (HVO) Switching Officer Certificate
- Hold the qualification as Qualified Technical Person (QTP) under the Queensland Electrical Safety act or commit to obtaining the qualification within 3 months of taking up the position.
