The Opportunity
The role of SAP Consultant - Functional & Technical, is to support the delivery of SAP functional designs and implementations which allow the business to achieve its strategic and operational goals.
The role requires a solid understanding of areas relating to business processes and functional components as well as a good ability to understand the technical solutions within SAP. This role will be required to support the Functional team to investigate code issues within FS-PM to assist in problem identification and resolution.
The role will cover both Production Support and Project Enhancements across the SAP FS-Policy Management (OSCAR) application and requires a strong understanding of the functionality and integration of SAP FS-PM in the overall OSCAR landscape and external systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in SAP FS-PM major project and smaller enhancement work
- Providing technical and functional knowledge transfer to other support resources (front-line readiness being a key stakeholder) as and when required
- Assisting in creating a pipeline of continuous improvements by discussing with stakeholders the various pain points
- Understanding and translating detailed business requirements from key stakeholders and subject matter experts for SAP FS-PM application into solution design documentation
- Identifying and documenting changes to existing or proposed IT systems required to support the new business or compliance requirements.
- Proactively contributing to the improvement in efficiency and support of Medibank's SAP FS-PM systems in areas such as data volume management, alerting and performance, identification of repeatable functions
- You have strong experience working in SAP modules - experience working on an SAP implementation is desirable but not necessary
- Your exposure to FS-PM is desirable, but not essential for the role
- You have a desire to work in the FS-PM Module with a view to being a Func/Tech Consultant
- Your experience working with business stakeholders doing gap analysis and understanding business processes is preferred
