Masta Scaffold Melbourne is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us in our mission to deliver exceptional height safety solutions across Melbourne CBD and the eastern suburbs. We are currently hiring for two positions: Part-Time Draftsperson and Scaffold Labourer/Warehouse Support. 

Position 1:  Scaffold Labourer/Warehouse Support 

Role Overview: 

As a Scaffold Labourer/Warehouse Support, you will be an integral part of our operations team, assisting with scaffold assembly, dismantling, and warehouse management. This role offers hands-on experience in scaffold construction and maintenance, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the assembly and dismantling of scaffold structures at various job sites. 
• Load and unload scaffold materials from trucks and organize inventory in the warehouse. 
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on scaffold equipment and tools. 
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. 

Requirements: 

• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights. 
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. 
• Forklift license, full driver's license 
• Construction Induction Card and Working With Childrens Card 
• Basic understanding of construction principles and tools. 
• Previous experience in scaffold construction or warehouse operations preferred but not required. 
• Full-time availability with potential for overtime hours as needed. 

Position 2: Part-Time Draftsperson 

Role Overview: 

As a Part-Time Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in our team, assisting with the design and drafting of scaffold structures for a variety of projects. Working closely with our engineering and project management teams, you will contribute to the development of safe and efficient scaffold solutions tailored to our clients' needs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare detailed scaffold drawings and plans using CAD software. 
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements. 
• Assist in the review and modification of scaffold designs based on site conditions and client feedback. 
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of scaffold designs and revisions. 

Requirements: 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
• Previous experience in scaffold drafting or construction industry preferred. 
• Part-time availability, with flexible hours to accommodate project needs.
