We are seeking an experienced generalist or School Nurse ideally with adolescent mental health experience, to cover long service leave for one of our Health Centre team members from 15 July - 20 Sept 2024. Further relief opportunities may also be available in the future.
Working 5 days per fortnight, you will provide generalist nursing services and wellbeing support, to students and Boarders as part of our multidisciplinary Pastoral Care team.
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate the following:
- Relevant qualifications and registered to practice as a Nurse in WA
- A thorough knowledge of general nursing practice, and some exposure to adolescent and youth mental health and wellbeing management strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and caring student-centred approach
- Strong collaboration capabilities and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to girls' health and wellbeing in an all girls' education environment
