About the role - St Martin's Primary School is looking to employ a Learning Assistant (School Officer) to work with students in Years 2 and 4 with diverse learning needs.
Duties include:

• General classroom support
• Preparation of resources and clearing learning materials
• Using technology to support learning activities
• Administrative duties such as photocopying and filing

Skills and experience:

• Self-motivated person who works collaboratively
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of the workings of a classroom
• A willingness to work as part of a team
• Demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Ideally you will have previous experience as a Learning Assistant and/or hold a minimum Cert 3 in Educational Support or be studying towards it.
