Join our team as our Science Laboratory Assistant and contribute to the vibrant learning environment of Trinity College. This vital role involves supporting science teaching staff in the preparation and maintenance of laboratory experiments and equipment.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to:
- Work unsupervised in a school Science Laboratory
- Assist in setting up laboratory experiments, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are readily available.
- Prepare chemicals, solutions, and specimens as instructed by the science teachers.
- Manage inventory by tracking supplies, ordering necessary materials, and maintaining stock levels.
- Apply Workplace Health and Safety Standards.
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
