Job Title: Scooper / Shift Supervisor 

Job Overview: As a Scooper at Ben & Jerry's, you will be a key team member responsible for creating a memorable experience for our customers by serving our delicious ice cream and promoting the brand's values. You will engage with customers, maintain a clean and inviting store environment, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Engagement:

• Greet and serve customers with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
• Educate customers about the flavors and products, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and engaging atmosphere for customers.

Ice Cream Preparation and Service:

• Accurately scoop and serve ice cream, sundaes, shakes, and other menu items according to established portion sizes and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure that all ice cream products are prepared and presented to the highest quality standards.

Cash Handling and Point of Sale (POS) Operation:

• Operate the cash register, handle payments, and provide correct change to customers.
• Keep accurate records of transactions and handle customer inquiries related to pricing and payments.

Store Maintenance and Cleaning:

• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure a sanitary and organized workspace.
• Restock supplies, toppings, and condiments as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Compliance and Safety:

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Adhere to food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and clean environment for employees and customers.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive team dynamic.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient store operations.

Qualifications:

• Customer service-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
