The role:
- Plan, develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate Recruitment and education activities for Population Screening and Cancer Prevention, including responding to public enquiries on screening programs and related cancer issues.
- Prepare submissions, discussion papers and report on the Recruitment and education functions of Population Screening and Cancer Prevention.
- Conduct face to face Recruitment and education activities for community and professional groups.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise in health promotion, education, and Cancer Prevention.
- Represent Population Screening and Cancer Prevention on committees or working groups as required.

Details of Appointment
1* Permanent, part time, day worker position working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
1* Fixed term, part time, day worker position working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 31 January 2025
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Location: Hobart, Tasmania
Salary: $79,529 to $91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
