The purpose of the role is to assist the Supervising Scientist in performing stores management duties, which includes (but is not limited to) receiving and unpacking stores, performing stock counts, goods receipting and ordering through S4HANA and Winc, lot tracking, and ensuring the laboratory is adequately supplied with both critical and routine stock at all times. Secondary to these tasks, the advertised role also involves participation in Central Specimen Reception (CSR), which includes tasks such as computer registration of request forms, assisting with clinical pathology duties, processing of sendaway and referral tests, cleaning and other duties as directed, with the potential to extend to the collection of blood specimens from inpatients and outpatients.Job details Position status Fixed Term Temporary

- High level of communication and interpersonal skills including abilities to be flexible, to work in a team, establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, laboratory, medical and nursing staff at all levels.
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
