A 12 month contract role, this long term position is a great opportunity to contribute to a highly visible transformation program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure Scrum is understood and the product/project team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, guidelines and increasing the scrum maturity in teams.
- Facilitate all scrum events within the team, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Recommend and implement changes and adaptations during the sprint retrospectives, which improve the efficiency or effectiveness of processes and/or enhance quality of outcomes.
- Identify and resolve team impediments to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization demonstrating servant leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with Scrum teams, Agile Coaches and other internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organisational project or product teams.
- Establish collaborative and influential relationships with stakeholders, customers and colleagues, to ensure easy and effective achievement of team / project / business goals.
- Effectively balance competing demands.
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a constructive workplace culture.
- Qualifications or equivalent experience in an Agile framework or method, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Project and Visio or equivalent.
- Experience in Agile project management methodologies, tools and their application.
- Understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Proven capacities to develop and implement initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and project manage.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment
- Well-developed communication, facilitation, negotiation, coaching skills, interpersonal and influencing skills with key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
