As a Secondary Systems Team Leader, you'll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you'll do it with down-to-earth people who you're proud to work with and get to know. Here's how:
- You'll lead a team to provide efficient and quality secondary system design services for Powerlink.
- You'll be responsible for resource planning and coordination (internal and outsourced) to ensure timely Secondary Systems design delivery and successful project outcomes.
- You'll ensure the Secondary Systems design team members continue to develop their knowledge and skills to meet Powerlink's Secondary Systems design standards
- You'll manage people and delivery of the Secondary Systems design team including task assignment, performance monitoring, review, coaching, teamwork and training to ensure a consistently high standard of team performance.
Based at our Virginia office, you'll join a team that is focused on a commitment to safety policies and practices. The team you will lead values collaboration, innovation, and a customer-centric approach in everything they do, and strive to deliver successful design and project outcomes.
Your expertise
- You'll have a degree in Electrical Engineering and be a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) in a relevant field of expertise
- You'll have experience in leading and developing professional design staff who provide support services to large infrastructure projects, preferably in electricity transmission.
- You'll have the ability to provide expert Secondary Systems design services through the utilisation of internal and outsourced resources.
- You'll have the demonstrated ability to work within a complex technical environment and undertake complex problem solving to ensure optimal design outcomes are achieved.
