Applications are sought from quality teachers of Humanities for a contract from 15th April to 31st December (Terms 2-4 of 2024). Experience or familiarity with Humanities (Geography and History) from Years 8-10 in the Australian Curriculum is required.

Good Shepherd is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Lutheran College that serves the families of the breathtakingly beautiful Noosa district on the Sunshine Coast. Centrally located 130kms from the Brisbane CBD, Good Shepherd Lutheran College is situated on a 9.5 hectare campus. The College has a total enrolment of approximately 1100 students. Our College is part of the ministry of The Lutheran Church in Queensland and has strong ties to the Noosa Lutheran Parish. Good Shepherd has built a recognised record of both academic success and Christian care.

Selection Criteria
- Commitment to Christian Education and support of college ethos.
- Demonstrated subject specific expertise and teaching experience in Years 6-12;
- An understanding of the particular needs of students and demonstrated skills in meeting these needs in the context of the classroom and in pastoral care;
- Demonstrated skills in and understanding of the development and implementation of units of work; including the use of documented planning and assessment procedures to ensure high standards of learning occur; and
- Demonstrated personal and interpersonal skills that strengthen effective partnerships with parents and staff.
