One of Australia’s prominent Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced Security Capability Manager to help put security strategies and plans into action for a vital Federal Government Department. The Security Capability Manager will be responsible for providing advice on the engagement of independent security advice and services to put security strategies and plans into action. The successful Security Capability Manager will be offered an initial 6 month contract along with a 2 x12 month extension options partnered with a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Security Capability Manager will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated understanding of cyber security and communications security threats, defences and regulatory requirements
- Ability to apply high level communications, teamwork and leadership skills
- Experience in the development and implementation of holistic security strategies
- Expert knowledge of the application of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework
