The Role:

Finite is seeking a Security and Applications Designer to design efficient and effective ICT solutions leveraging the Virtualisation and Physical modernisation networking technologies, specifically for the development and evolution of the Cyber Operations Security System.

The Requirements:

• 2+ years of demonstrated experience working as a Network Engineer inside complex and/or largescale ICT projects/programs with a focus on Network Security Appliances (firewalls, NIDS/NIPS configuration, Application Firewalls).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Commonwealth Cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. ISM, PSPF, and ASD Essential 8)
• Experience in Physical/Virtualised Network designs using technology such as VMware NSX-T, Cisco ACI, and OpenStack SDN etc.
• Experience with VMWare security implementation (WorkSpace One, VIDM)
• Understanding of infrastructure, software, and networking concepts (e.g. Multi-Tenant, and Micro-Segmentation)
• Previous working experience with complex multi-vendor product environment(s)
• Understanding and awareness of network, software, and infrastructure security best practice, protected network design and design limitations/workarounds
