About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a strong, dynamic security leader to join our team as a Security Contract Managerbased at an iconic location. You will lead, manage and develop our people whilst working closely with our Service Managers to drive client satisfaction and business success.
You will be a passionate and experienced security manager with a proven track record of success in leadership, delivering strategic results to achieve the highest standard of outcomes, and building relationships. No two days will be the same, so we are looking for someone who is up for a challenge whilst also having strong contract management experience and time management skills.
- Play a lead role in achieving our mission to be the leading Australian services company that creates value for our customers through a range of innovative and technological services
- Proactively manage and maintain internal and client relationships to ensure business targets and needs are achieved
- Work at an operational level with clients and internal management team
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients and their representatives
- Oversee all aspects of security activities including watching, patrolling, protecting, or guarding persons or any property while unarmed, including asset protection, access control and crowd control activities by any means in accordance with complex instructions and procedures
- Perform the work either individually or oversee the work in a team environment without supervision in the field across a single site or at multiple sites or at an event or activity
- Ensure that correspondence, reports and submissions are accurate and provided within the given timeframes and produced in accordance with contract requirements
- Effectively and efficiently handle client feedback and requests within agreed time frames
- Support policy and procedural implementation and continuous improvement to systems and processes
- Security License (NSW 1,2A)
- Full NSW Drivers Licence
- First Aid Certificate (current)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (current)
- Certificate IV Security Risk Management (or willing to obtain)
- 3 years management experience (preferred)
- Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Plan certificates/cards (or willing to obtain)
- White Card (or willing to obtain)
- Fire Warden (or willing to obtain)
- Proven experience managing a team of 20+
- Experience in Rostering and Planning
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Thorough understanding of compliance and regulations
- Experience working in a fast-paced organisation.
- Strong computer literacy with high proficiency using Microsoft Office.
- Proactive approach and not afraid to hit the ground running.
