The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) guides the Departments' digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students.
IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.
About the opportunity
This is an ongoing opportunity to join the Information Security team within IMTD reporting to the Security Risk and Compliance Manager.
The Security Education Analyst role aligns to the department's enterprise security strategy by leading activities to uplift and sustain a robust security culture including targeted change management and education programs - the role includes leading the engagement, communications, stakeholder management, reporting and education required for Corporate and School audiences to adopt a security mindset, and behaviours that uplift the department's security posture and minimises operational, financial and reputational risks.

As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- At least 3 years experience as a change lead or educator delivering training needs analysis, content development and delivery, along with change management and communications experience.
- Deliver engaging presentations, workshops and training sessions as needed to drive adoption or policy/process conformance.
- Identify and manage risks and issues related to managing change and adoption.
- Develop plans including project schedules, activity sequencing, dependencies, timelines, risk management strategies and resource requirements.
- Manage relationships, provide facilitation or coaching services to internal and external stakeholder groups to resolve issues.
- Establish target metrics to regularly illustrate the performance of education programs, behaviours and compliance.
- Develop a communication strategy and rollout plan.
- Builds behind-the-scenes support for ideas to ensure buy-in and ownership.
