About the Role:
ICC Sydney is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Security professional who is willing to go above and beyond to provide quality customer service to guests and delegates, as well as ensuring the building is safe and secure, to join the team as a Security Officer, in a Full Time capacity.
As a Security Officer, you will be an integral member of the ICC Sydney team, responsible for maintaining the safety and security of customers, team members and company property. As a customer-facing role, you will handle stakeholder interactions with diplomacy and respect, providing advice and solutions to suit the needs of the client and ICC Sydney all while maintaining vigilance over ICC Sydney assets.
This role is primarily a building security role with exposure to events. The position would suit a Security professional who enjoys a fast moving environment, changing pace, from shift to shift. Security shifts can be quite active in relation to events and clientele, sometimes walking between 10,000 -20,000 steps per shift across our precinct, to the next shift which may need you to switch focus to administration duties such as audits, inspections, and reporting. There will be a lot of opportunities to develop within the Security department and progress within your career. In addition, this role will require 24/7 availability and work off a rotating (four shifts on, four shifts off) roster, 12 hours per shift.
Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-4 years' experience in security
  • NSW Security Licence 1A
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
