Security Operations Manager

The Role:
We are looking for a Security Operations Manager to manage a small security team and to manage cyber defence across the group. This role is a perfect stepping stone for someone who is looking to progress into a more senior role, coming from a strong technical background covering incident response, vulnerability management, and Security Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Security Operations team and support them with the Security Operations tooling implementation (get your hands dirty too).
• Take charge of incident response and manage third-party providers
• Oversee effective cyber security risk detection processes and tools, including the delivery of reporting to senior leadership.
• Developing requirements for the SIEM and determining techniques and procedures for intrusion sets.
• Spearhead and guide security event processes, leveraging information collected from diverse sources within the enterprise to enhance security awareness and evaluate the attacks.

Skills required

• 5+ years of Security Operations experience
• A combination of strong hands-on technical and leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills, vendor management experience, and ability to present to senior leadership and executives
• Expertise across SIEM, incident response, forensics, and vulnerability management.
