As the Cyber Security Operations (SOC) Manager, you will be responsible to support & mobilise your team to detect, analyse, and respond to cybersecurity incidents using cutting edge tech & strong processes.
Role:
- As part of the leadership team, you will engage & present to Senior Management
- Execute the strategy of Cyber Operations vision to facilitate successful growth.
- Team growth & hiring; Drive ambitious, unified culture & team collaboration.
- Drive operational performance against defined SLAs; Build reports, dashboards & metrics for SOC operations.
- Deliver and verify plans for monitoring, maintaining and improving the integrity of security processes and systems.
- Ensure knowledge management within the SOC is maintained within your team.
- Act as escalation point & when required, participate in Triage and PIR calls to direct workload, manage risk and act as an escalation for SOC tasks
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency.
- You are great with people & stakeholder management – both internal and externally, with good report-writing skills and strong communication skills at all levels!
- You’ve got dedicated SOC management experience and have at least one security methodology as MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
- You love management, have exampled of building high performing, motivated teams & mobilising the people around you; have a desire to share information, improve documentation, and train other analysts in your team thus enabling your own success!
- You have knowledge of various security methodologies and processes and can apply these to incidents investigations and management.
- You have the ability to consistently deliver to deadlines while prioritising competing demands for time (without sacrificing quality).
