Security Team Leader

This role support the Director of Security & Safety and the Security Operations Manager/Security Operations Coordinator in leading and developing RMH's strategic and operational security function. Ensuring the Security & Safety team provides a high-quality customer service that achieves a consistently safe environment for our people, patients/consumers, visitors, and other stakeholders.
About the role
- Providing a 24/7 service to both the RMH City Campus and RMH Royal Park Campus, the RMH Security Department is a diverse and supportive team.
- Lead the PM shift Security Team in day to day operational matters
- Attending various codes within the hospital environment
- Responding to general security issues
- Responding to duress alarms
- Duress Alarm Auditing/Testing & Maintenance
- Conducting rounding of wards and patrols of car parks, public facing areas and relevant buildings
- Accessing and reviewing CCTV footage
- Assisting police and other stakeholders in the hospital precinct with incidents/investigations
- Auditing and attending access control issues
- Conducting security risk assessments
- Issuing ID badges and staff access
- Assisting patients, consumers and visitors as required
About you
- Security experience in the public or private sector with a demonstrated track record of managing security and safety teams
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and a proven commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Strong time management, outcome focused and able to deliver results to plan
- Excellent written and verbal communications skill
- Current and valid Security Licence as per Private Security Act 2004
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Clear Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check
