NSTA Pty Ltd is an Approved Registered Training Organization (Code: 32292) and offer a range of security training programs, assessment and instruction related to persons seeking a security license. NSTA Pty Ltd are an approved provider in NSW to deliver training and assessment services in relation to specific security license courses or units of competency (i.e., bodyguard, armed guard, and crowd controller courses).
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Security Trainer interested in working with us.
We are predominantly looking for someone with the skills and experience to deliver but not limited to Certificate II in Security Operations.
Primary role will be delivering the NSW 1A Security License course (Cert II in security operations), including conducting career information sessions, pre-screening interviews, LLN assessments and additional student support activities as required.
There is also the opportunity to undertake further development and deliver other courses in future.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
As a Trainer and Assessor for NSTA Pty Ltd, you must meet, and continue to meet once approved, the following criteria.
- Professional experience in the relevant field of training in security areas or related field.
- Certified Trainer/Facilitator in Security training techniques and methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in planning and designing training programmes on safety and security subjects, operational planning, or similar
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and demonstrated ability and willingness to work as member of a team
- Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and ability to integrate a gender perspective into all training activities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and constructive working relationships with people of different national and cultural backgrounds while maintaining impartiality and objectivity
- Must be SLED approved to deliver security course
- Hold a current Security 2D license
- Hold TAE 40116 Certificate IV in training and assessment as a minimum qualification
- Must hold the Advanced First Aid certificate
- Strong related industry skills and work experience.
- Demonstrate you are continuing to develop their VET knowledge and skills, as well as maintaining their industry currency and training/assessor competence.
