SMYL Community Services is a not-for-profit community-based organisation seeking applications from experienced trainers for the delivery of a literacy and numeracy program.
A position currently exists in Northam for an experienced trainer and assessor delivering a range of training which may include Business, Community Services and New Opportunities for Women. The successful applicant will be delivering Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills under the Skills for Education and Employment Program (SEE).
Essential - Applicants must or be willing to posses:
- A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment including TAELLN114 & TAEDES502 units.
Highly Desirable - Applicants should also possess or be willing to gain:
- A Certificate in Community Services & or Business, at least to Level II
- A Certificate I in Leadership
- A recognised undergraduate degree of at least 3 years duration.
- Current working knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015.
- Proven ability to develop, design and implement individual learning programs and assessment strategies and materials.
- Highly developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills; and
- Current Working with Children check, National Police Clearance and driver’s licence.
