The fundamental responsibility of the Senior Account Manager is to work with relevant partners in developing and implementing robust account plans for a key client. In this regard, the following are seen as underpinning responsibilities:
- develop an in-depth understanding of the nominated client, their businesses and assist with the collection, presentation, and dissemination of that information to relevant partners within the firm;
- coach and otherwise assist partners and other fee earners in the delivery of planned marketing, networking, negotiation and pursuit activities;
- facilitate the penetration of client relationships across practice groups nationally; chair regular meetings with the client team to ensure that the account plan is being appropriately executed;
- provide relevant communication with the Client Relationship Partner and broader partnership;
- understand the objectives of the relevant service lines with which the client requires interaction;
- prepare client reports of activities and results;
- identifying and coordinating research with dedicated analysts with regard to client opportunities.
To apply, you will present with tertiary qualifications and knowledge and expertise in a professional services or sophisticated B2B and business development, sales and account relationship management – ideally gained in the professional services sector.
You will have knowledge of customer relationship management principles and practices in a service delivery environment and have demonstrated experience in building strategic relationships, managing clients and pursuing new business.
