Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with the Partners, undertaking a variety of senior tax accounting activities and providing tailored services to their diverse group of clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns in accordance with accounting standards and current income tax laws.
- Providing tax planning and business advice.
- Preparing and analysing financial information and assisting clients with general business and bookkeeping inquiries.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified.
- CA/CPA qualifications, or working towards obtaining them, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with a broad range of clients.
- Demonstrated experience in an Australian senior tax accountant role, with the ability to prepare financial statements and tax returns for various business structures.
- Thorough understanding of Australian Taxation law.
- Extensive experience with accounting software packages (MYOB, Xero, etc.) and knowledge of Class Super or equivalent.
- A “can-do” attitude focused and passionate about client needs, with the ability to build strong, honest client relationships.
